Your annual physical focuses on preventing disease and promoting long-term health. It gives your doctor at Park South Medical the opportunity to assess your risk for developing disease, screen for small changes that signal a potential problem, and recommend a treatment plan to keep you healthy.
You can prevent many of the chronic diseases that commonly develop in adults — diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and coronary artery disease — with lifestyle changes, but this is only possible when the problem is caught early during an annual physical examination.
Dr. Ezratty and Dr. Harris offer diverse services including:
If you’re not a citizen of the United States and you want to become a permanent legal resident, you must go through a procedure called “adjustment of status,” more commonly known as getting a Green Card.
To apply for a Green Card, you need an immigration medical exam performed by an approved physician. The Park South doctors are designated civil surgeons, which means they’re certified to provide your immigration physical.
Please bring any medical records you have to your exam, so the doctor can see if you’re up to date with immunizations. Your Park South doctor reviews your medical history, performs a complete physical exam, orders blood work or chest X-rays, and administers immunizations if needed.
You’ll also be screened for existing health conditions or disabilities and any mental health problems. When your exam is finished, the doctor completes the required medical form.
If you want a commercial driver’s license (CDL), you must have a physical examination to obtain or renew your license. This exam must be performed by a Certified Medical Examiner, and the Park South doctors are certified to provide your CDL exam.
Please call the team at Park South Medical or use the online booking tool to schedule your physical examination.
